miCommunity Terms of Service

Welcome to miCommunity! By creating an account or accessing any service within the miCommunity ecosystem (including miSearch, miMail, miCommunity Account, and miConsole), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features of miCommunity, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete information during registration.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials and password.
• Promptly update your recovery email or phone number to ensure account access can be restored if forgotten.
• Immediately notify miCommunity Security if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use miCommunity services responsibly and lawfully. You must NOT:

• Use miMail or miConsole APIs to send unsolicited bulk commercial messages (spam), phishing attempts, or malware.
• Attempt to bypass authentication protocols, exploit rate limits, or reverse-engineer miCommunity infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of miCommunity servers, networks, or databases.
• Impersonate any person, business entity, or miCommunity official.

3. miMail & Developer API Limits

To ensure high service availability for all users:

• Standard miMail accounts are subject to fair-use sending quotas to prevent abuse.
• Developers utilizing miConsole OAuth 2.0 client credentials must comply with standard API rate limits and accurately declare requested scopes (e.g. profile email).

4. Service Availability & Modifications

We continuously improve the miCommunity ecosystem. We reserve the right to modify, update, or temporarily suspend features or APIs to perform maintenance, enhance security, or upgrade database schemas.

5. Termination & Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy or engage in abusive, malicious behavior. In the event of account suspension, users may appeal by contacting support.

6. Limitation of Liability

miCommunity services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, miCommunity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service interruptions or loss of data.
